New Lakewood Head Start facility to be dedicated Wednesday | Community Spirit

Join Mayor Bob Murphy, City Councilor Diana Allen and City Manager Kathy Hodgson for the dedication of the new 11th Avenue Head Start Facility.

Parking is limited. Guests are encouraged to park at 6575 W. Colfax Ave. and take the shuttle to the dedication. Shuttle service begins at 8 a.m.

Head Start provides a no fee educational experience for 3- and 4-year-old children who meet specific eligibility requirements: low-income, homeless or child with identified special needs.  You must be a City of Lakewood resident to participate in the Head Start program. If you live outside of the City of Lakewood, we will assist with resources upon request.  Families with special needs are encouraged to apply.
