Online resource helps Lakewood businesses navigate food safety and regulatory issues

A new website has been developed to familiarize Colorado food producers and food product manufacturers with federal, state and local food licensing regulations and to help ensure that the path food travels from farm to fork is safe. The website, www.cofarmtomarket.com, is for farmers’ market vendors, farmers’ market managers, ag producers, food product manufacturers and others targeting direct markets such farm to school, restaurants, retail stores, and institutions.

Free coffee at McDonald's in Denver and the Front Range

WHAT:             Free coffee is back! Once again, McDonald’s will be giving away free coffee for two weeks! They are confident that when consumers try their tasty, high quality coffee, they’ll love it! Customers can pick up a FREE Small Premium Roast Coffee from Monday, February 20 – Sunday, March 4th in the drive thru or inside the restaurant at any participating McDonald’s in Denver and the Front Range.

Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill Expands into Boulder

DENVER -- Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Denver-based fast casual restaurant concept featuring an authentic Mediterranean menu, today announced its expansion into a third Colorado market: Boulder. The 13th Garbanzo location opens December 22 and is located on the 29th Street Mall at 1905 29th Street, Boulder, CO 80301. Restaurant hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
 
The latest Garbanzo restaurant joins 10 Denver-metro locations in Highlands, Greenwood Village, Denver, Aurora, Littleton, Park Meadows, Highlands Ranch, University Hills, Lone Tree and Glendale, as well as two Colorado Springs locations in the Broadmoor Towne Center and First and Main Town Center.
